Journey of Bliss
by Mario Gerada

Standing still
waiting till
the moon light
kisses the sea.

Sadness creeps
pain cuts deep
phantom feelings
wake up from sleep.

Lonely tears
flowing to the stream,
my body ‘s aching
in the summery breeze.

Building dreams
constructing hopes
to see them shatter
like so many before.

Giving life, to see it die,
standing up, to fall again,
dancing in the light, to walk in the dark,
looking at the sky, sitting on the ground.

Gradually sailing,
through the calmness of the night,
gazing at the stars,
hoping to arrive.
