God Bless You

How sweetly fall these simple words
     upon the human heart,
When friends in holiest terms thus seek
     best wishes to impart,
From far or near, they ever seem
     to bear a power to cheer you,
As soul responsive joins with soul,
     each wishing each, “God bless you!”
