Does It Really Matter?
Does it really matter whether baptism is dunking, dipping or sprinkling?
Not really. But we accuse our brothers of doing it wrong.
Does it really matter that we choose one Bible version over another?
Not really. But we accuse our brothers of not knowing the truth.
Does it really matter that we support gay marriage, believe in science or mix church and politics?
Not really. But we think our brothers are following false teachings.
Does it really matter that we speak in tongues, pray to the saints or embrace the prosperity gospel?
Not really. But we think we are more spiritual than our brothers.
Does drinking alcohol, being wealthy or using cuss words really matter?
Not really. But we like to find anything we can to cancel our brother’s salvation.
Does it really matter that we divide our churches over all these details?
Yes it does. Because we think we are better than our brothers and have forgotten that Jesus Christ on the tree is what saves us all. Nothing else.
