Everything is Changing

A change of government is changing our nation and world. Many of us who have become accustomed to a more open society are now seeing it close up around us. As Christians, many of us are concerned, stressed and fearful. Fearful of the direction of our country and what it will become.

Many people will lose financially, be driven into poverty, suffer, be deported, lose support systems, be marginalized, discriminated against or imprisoned. Whether seniors, families, the disabled, women, minorities, veterans, immigrants, lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, queer and the homeless, many lives are changing and not for the better.

This is the time when we need to pray, petition God and trust in Him.

Our focus should now be in supporting each other, joining together, contributing and helping those who are vulnerable and using our time, service and money to stand up for what is right and assisting those who need help.

Fear is the tool of the devil and it is in full force. Love is what will conquer fear.

Amidst this tribulation we must cling to the Lord and continue to trust Him.
Trust that His Will be done and His plans for His Kingdom will defeat the evil that is befalling us. Don't allow fear to chip away your faith.
God is greater than anything the devil dishes out.

Stand up for all that is good and righteous and continue His commandments to Love God with all of our heart, soul and mind and love our neighbors as ourselves. And pray...pray to the Lord continuously to protect us. In this time, we can pass and show God’s love and compassion to those who will be affected by standing up with, volunteering, checking on and protecting those who need protecting.

Do what you can, no matter how small.

“These things I have spoken onto you that in me you might have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.” -John 16:33

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." - Proverbs 3:5,6

"Be still and know that I am God." - Psalm 46:10a
